Pumpkin Toadlet Render
Procedurally shaded Pumpkin Toadlet (Brachycephalus ephippium) surrounded by procedurally modeled mosses. Aiming for photorealism, I based my scene off of a photograph taken by my biologist sister, Shannon Buttimer, in the Atlantic Rainforest of southern Brazil.
Render vs. photograph
Frog material shader network, moss model Geometry Nodes. I created procedural shaders for the dirt ground and the logs in the background as well. The mossy patches on these logs were also scattered and randomized procedurally.
Bloopers: untamed displacement shader, customary Blender donut consisting of my frog material.
